Publish Date : 25-Jul-2012 AECOM has been awarded two major contracts by the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) in California, United States.
Under the scope of the contracts, which are part of the district’s Proposition A 2011 Bond program, AECOM will support school building improvements, including facility modernizations; accessibility, life safety and seismic upgrades; and infrastructure and maintenance improvements.

The first contract covers program planning and design management services. AECOM’s team of architects, engineers and program managers will provide the district with management support for building assessments and early design phase work. “Winning these contracts was the result of the strong, long-term relationships that two AECOM team members, Jim Mitchell and Pat Spector, have maintained with the client,” said AECOM’s Wade Joffrion, principal in charge and vice president, construction services, Americas.
