Virgin Islands (British) : Government Invites Tenders For Construction Of NEOC Building

The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting sealed tenders for the construction of the National Emergency Operations Centre building.
The works include, but are not limited to a reinforced concrete building with three stories, a parking area and accessories structures located on the project site. The accessories structures include a generator room, electrical substation and a pump house enclosing fire suppression and water harvesting cisterns. The works on the building also include all electrical and mechanical works.
Procurement Coordinator, Mrs. Ishma Rhymer said eligible Tenderers will be required to submit full qualification information with their tenders establishing their eligibility to bid and qualification to perform the contract if the bid is accepted.
She said submissions that do not provide the information required, or do not demonstrate the prospective contractors ability to perform satisfactorily, will not qualify and will not be considered for further evaluation.
Tender documents can be collected at the Central Tenders Board, Ministry of Finance, Procurement Unit, Qwomar Trading Building #2, 2nd Floor Blackburne Road, Tortola, Virgin Islands from Monday, April 15 on week days between 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tender documents can also be made available electronically upon request to procurement@gov.vg with the subject title Request for Bid Documents: International Competitive Bidding for the Construction of the National Emergency Operations Centre Building - Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Loan Hurricane Irma.
Four (4) hard copies of tenders must be submitted in sealed envelopes, with the name and address of the bidder, and be clearly marked International Competitive Bidding for the Construction of the National Emergency Operations Centre Building and must be received on Tuesday, May 21 not later than 10:00 a.m. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend.
