United States : CLOUDBUY announces two partnerships in 2 days

Another contract win for cloudBuy has been announced and the latest partnership deal has been signed with a leading US Cloud-based provider of procurement services. After announcing a partnership in the Middle East, just a day ago, the AIM-listed e-commerce specialist said on Friday it will hook up with an undisclosed American organization to provide a platform that enables end users to purchase from successful tenders.
The service would go live at the start of the next month, and the first customer to sign up is expected to be valued at US$600,000 per year to cloudBuy. cloudBuy will help, the US company (said to have a huge client list covering public and private sector establishments in the US) to provide a combined suite of services that will offer visibility of the throughput and savings achieved.
Chairman of cloudBuy, Ronald Duncan, said : "The US market is the largest and most mature globally for procurement services. With our partner we can fast track our market entry into the F2000 [Forbes 2000] and already have leads into government and education, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate, chemicals, energy, retail and fast food companies/industries. This capability complements our work in Asia Pacific, particularly in India, where the CII members are of particular interest to global corporates, which source many of their manufactured goods from this group of suppliers."
