China,Denmark : OMT gets first design order for a Feeder Containership

First design order for a Feeder Containership has been fastened by OMT (Odense Maritime Technology). The vessel is a great intake (3600 TEU), shallow drought design with efficiency in best-in-class fuel that is attained by a large optimization and model testing programme. The ship will be constructed at Cosco Zhoushan Shipyard in China for Maersk Line A/S. The design is well supported for operation in Maersk Line’s liner network in Northern Europe. Cosco Shipyard will receive design drawings and documentation from OMT.
