India : RPP INFRA secures order from CHENNAI CORP

Chennai Corporation has awarded RPP Infra Projects with two contracts worth Rs 728 million.
According to RPP, the work is slated to complete in 24 months. This new order is for Tamil Nadu Sustainable Urban Development Project (TNSUDP) and integrated storm water drain (ISWD) financed by World Bank for construction of integrated storm water drain in cooum watershed of cooum basin in expanded area of Chennai Corporation for Rs 395 million and for Rs 333 million.
Arul Sundaram, CMD, RPP Infra Projects, commented "India envisage a big growth for infrastructure in coming days & company is poised to garner a sizable growth from this by winning orders currently & few more orders going ahead. We are happy that the Revenues & Profit of our Company will touch new heights in coming years."
The company recently inked MOU with Chinese State Owned Construction Company "Hunan Engineering Construction Group" to participate in high value tenders.
