The Ministry of Economy and Commerce will quickly unveil a Registration and Pre-qualification Window (R&P Window) for the sports industry to bring providers and government entities closer by delivering firms with a sole point of contact.

The service to be introduced in October will provide users a clear understanding of the supply chain in the sports arena while recognizing investment chances for local and global firms.

The program will be introduced at the Sport Business Opportunities Forum being conducted by the ministry , in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Sports (MCS), the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC), Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF).

The ministry said, the window has been made to improve match supply and demand and will transform spending into real investment chances for the local private sector, that will reflect positively on the development of the non-oil sector in Qatar.

The user interface is characterized by simplicity and ease of use for both the private sector and requesting authorities from the sports, allowing firms to register, qualify and access sports arena committee tenders easily.

The program provides users a range of significant and useful tools, for example it can classify available investment opportunities, and also specify the risks engaged referring to the registered firm as per its activity, by e-mail and text message, and send firm provides and offers directly to the requesting party, for tender considerations.
