United States : Cuomo announces large grant for Upstate New York's transit system

Gov. Andrew Cuomo has announced a major grant of around $60 million in state and federal funding for Upstate New York's transit system.
All four GLOW regions will be offered various amounts of funding, with Orleans and Livingston County getting over 1 million.
$3.3 million was financed to the Rochester Genesee Regional Transportation Authority in Orleans County for operating aid, building of a storage plant and to buy equipment.
Livingston County will be offeed $1.1 million for operating aid, facility rehabilitation and to purchase vehicles.
Genesee County is being financed $432,300 for operating assistance and the procurement of software, hardware, equipment and two vehicles.
Finally, $384,400 in Wyoming County will be used for operating aid and the buying of vehicles and equipment.
