Saudi Arabia : Saudi Aramco offers first major contract to EMAS CHIYODA Subsea-LTHE group

Ezra Holdings Limited has announced that EMAS CHIYODA Subsea1, the compant's 50:50 partnership firm with Chiyoda Corporation, has partnered with Larsen & Toubro Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE), to win a deal from Saudi Arabian oil giant, Saudi Aramco.
This marks the first major contract offered by the oil giant to the EMAS CHIYODA Subsea-LTHE group.
Under the deal, worth over US$1.6 billion, EMAS CHIYODA Subsea and LTHE will provide combined engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) services to develop Phase II of the Hasbah gas field.
The scope of EMAS CHIYODA Subsea represents nearly 40% of the contract value.
The project, sited offshore Saudi Arabia, would be completed over a period of 42 months and will serve Saudi Aramco's strategy to supply a further 2,500 MMSCFD of clean natural gas through the Fadhili Gas Plant to meet Saudi Arabia's increasing domestic energy demand.
