United States : Endeavor wins Council's approval for dark fiber contract

Mooresville Town Council has agreed to offer a contract to Endeavor Communications to provide dark fiber for all of the town's government buildings.
Three bids were received : one from Endeavor, which owns an office in Monrovia; one from PDS Wireless from Mooresville and Apex out of Franklin.
But, Apex failed to comply with the Request For Proposal (RFP).
"Dark fiber service" is service offered by a local exchange carrier to maintain optical fiber transmission capacity between customer sites.
Greencastle-based, Endeavor, presented the service's lowest cost.
