Publish Date : 22-Aug-2016

Bodimetrics has announced the inclusion of their products on a Veterans Health Administration Contract Award via its Federal distribution partner, Lovell Government Services (LGS).

The Contract award number #V797D-50450 allows the VA and other federal organizations to procure any of the Bodimetrics products at pre-approved pricing through the Veterans Administration's FSS Contract or via the GSA Advantage Online Catalog.

In addition, the Defense Department has included these products on DAPA contract number #SP0200-16-H-0011.

Chris Lovell, President of LGS, said, "Bodimetrics produces life-changing telehealth devices that are now available via all the government contracting vehicles. Im honored that Bodimetrics selected LGS as their partner to help make these powerful devices readily available to all the Federal Healthcare providers and consumers."

Bodimetrics CEO, Mark Goettling, noted, "Our focus has been in furthering the development of Bodimetrics monitoring platforms to support early detection of physiological changes which can help identify patients at risk earlier, ensure that the very best in telehealth monitoring technology is available, and decrease costly hospitalizations and ER visits. By partnering with experts such as LGS, we can now provide our technology to those who have served and their families,. Were grateful to Chris for his service to our country and his desire to continue to serve by providing specialty devices such as Bodimetrics to the Veterans Administration Health System and the U.S. Military Health System."

COO of Bodimetrics, Neil Friedman, added, "Mr. Lovell and his team will help us move toward our goal of making Bodimetrics products a standard of carenot only for the brave men and women who have served, but also to allow clinicians to do remote monitoring for clinical decision making, and telehealth services. Any patient who needs to non-invasively monitor their physiological status to manage chronic cardiac or respiratory illnesses, maximize training, fitness or weight loss regimens, or need to monitor SpO2 levels for sleep apnea, will find these products very effective."
