South Africa : ELB Engineering Services wins Gamsberg zinc project's EPC deal

A provider of engineering solutions, ELB Engineering Services, has won an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the Northern Cape's Gamsberg zinc project.
ELB Engineering Services, which has been selected to provide theE EPC services by Black Mountain Mining (BMM), an arm of LSE-listed diversified miner Vedanta Resources, will offer construction services for the process, power and water plants at the Gamsberg zinc project in the Northern Cape province of South Africa.
This is a major deal for ELB Engineering Services and results from months of joint effort to attain an optimal engineered integrated solution.
Aa green field zinc mine, Gamsberg, consists of an open cast mine, ore beneficiation plant and related infrastructure sited in Aggeneys.
