OVERVIEW OF THE PROJECT
The Rural Energy Agency (REA) is responding to the Tanzanian Government’s
aim to reach the UN initiative for Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) Agenda
of universal (100%) access by 2030. The Rural Energy Agency (REA) is seeking
proposals from qualified service providers for the supply, installation, and
testing of Stand-Alone Solar Home Systems (SA-SHS) in eight remote villages
across Geita, Ludewa and Mbulu districts. These villages, characterized by
challenging geographical conditions, have been identified as impractical for grid
extension.
