The tender contract includes support for the maintenance of the cable network and telecommunications systems, which support both services linked to railway operation and services for external customers

Adif has approved the tender for the maintenance support contract for its cable network (fiber optic, copper and structured cabling) and that of Adif High Speed, as well as its telecommunications systems, with a base budget of 4,660,920 euros (VAT included).

This contract, which has an execution period of 24 months, refers to the following services: urgent actions, second interventions for incidents and control work and improvement in the facilities of the cable network and / or telecommunications systems.

The contract has been divided into six lots, corresponding to many other geographical areas:

The telecommunications installations of Adif and Adif High Speed constitute an essential element for the railway operation to be carried out with due guarantees. In addition, they provide essential services for external clients such as railway and telecommunications operators and the clients of the commercial operation of passenger stations.

This contract will allow maintenance brigades to have the support of specialized companies, in such a way that the times in which the facilities affected by any incident are out of service are reduced.
