Injazat Data Systems, a leading provider of managed IT services, has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) aimed at boosting cooperation, fostering a partnership and promoting the Hassantuk system for commercial and industrial buildings.
Hassantuk is a strategic Public-Private Initiative between the UAE Ministry of Interior and Injazat Data Systems, the regions foremost IT strategists. It is designed to increase the efficiency of emergency services responses to all fire and life safety emergency alarms through a state-of-the-art smart system which helps to shorten response times and increase response efficiency to all emergency events across the UAE, helping to reduce danger to life and damage to property.
Under the terms of the Memorandum, the two parties have committed to establish a joint working group in which the two parties will be represented equally, setting up mechanisms of cooperation and supervising the implementation of possible areas of collaboration. ADIB provides the Hassantuk system with all the information necessary to register the details of all buildings owned, operated or supervised, as appropriate, and will cooperate with Injazat in all related matters.
Injazat and ADIB are working together to strengthen the safety system and contribute to the success of the project, which is one of the largest strategic projects in the country that directly contributes to the effective protection of both life and property.
Ayman Alsebeyi, General Manager at Hassantuk, said: "We are delighted to have signed this Memorandum of Understanding with ADIB because it comes as part of our efforts to reduce the risk of fire and life-threatening emergencies. The Hassantuk system will increase safety standards for buildings and property alarm systems by enhancing the efficiency of response times for emergency services, providing maximum protection for the community at their homes, workplaces or any public building, as well as reducing risks to lives and property.
Adel Al Zarouni, GM Real Estate and Administration said: The safety and security of our employees is something we have always taken extremely seriously at ADIB. This MoU with Hassantuk further demonstrates our commitment to maintaining a safe working environment across all our offices and branches. Our employees have always provided an exceptional banking experience to customers safe in the knowledge that we have cutting-edge security and firm alarm systems to protect them against potential risks.
All building owners across the UAE are legally required to register and subscribe to the Hassantuk system and the full registration mechanism and details can be found on the Hassantuk website at www.hassantuk.moi.gov.ae
Under the authority of UAE Cabinet Resolution No. 24 of 2012 and Ministerial Resolution No. 505 of 2012, the system provides an additional layer of safety and security in line with UAE Vision 2021 and Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030s commitment to make the United Arab Emirates one of the safest countries in the world.
