Tender has been announced by The Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) for solarization of 6,367 grid-connected water pumps under Component-C of the governments KUSUM Program.

Mainly the work includes the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, commissioning of the solar systems, and also five years of comprehensive maintenance for the systems. Completion of the installations is scheduled within nine months from the date of the letter of intent (LoI).

The estimated cost of the project is INR 2.45 billion. Bidders should pay bid security amounting to 2% of the estimated cost of the lot chosen.

March 5, 2020 is the deadline for bid submission. Applicants, in order to be eligible to participate in the competitive bidding process, must have experience supplying, installing, and maintaining grid-connected or off-grid solar systems of 5 kW capacity and in the last five years.

Also, they must have had a positive net worth and a minimum annual turnover greater than 50% of the estimated cost of the chosen lot in each of the last three financial years.
