The Tender Board, the independent regulator of Bahrain Government procurement activities, today opened 86 bids related to 20 tenders and one auction for 10 purchasing authorities.
opened was of three tenders for the Ministry of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning (Municipal Affairs) the first tender on the diversion of low pressure pipeline and necessary connections at hawrat aali project, three bids have been received for this tender. the second tender was for Consultancy services for construction projects, 11 bids have been received for this tender. And the third tender was for Centralize printing management project, eight bids have been received for this tender. Also opened two tenders for the Ministry of Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning (Works Affairs) the first tender for the construction of the main line for the sewage of the Hidd Industrial Zone, the number of tenders received were five bids, the second tender was for the cleaning of gudaibiya palace, one bid was received for this tender.
Moreover, one tender was open for the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs for supply and installation of portable maple sports flooring for khalifa sports city, four bids were received.
The board opened five tenders and one auction for Central Stores Directorate the Electricity and Water Authority, the first tender for purchase of substation, kiosk, one bid was received for this tender, while the second tender was for the purchase of water fittings, four bids were received for this tender, while receiving 10 bids of fiber optic cable, and the fourth tender was for the purchase cables U/G, six bids were received for this tender, while the fifth tender was for the purchase of cables ,XLPE 66KV and accessories, two bids were received for this tender, while the auction was for Sell Scrap Material, Eight bids were received for this auction.
The Board also opened a one tender for Labour Market Regulatory Authority for Provision of electronic payment gateway and pos devices, two bids have been received for this tender.
Also the Board opened three bids for a tender for Supreme Judicial Council for Health insurance for employees.
With regard to the oil and gas sector, the Board opened two tenders for Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), the first tender for support services for the Bapco data network, two bids were received for this tender, and the second tender was for provision of internal sales, one bid was received for this tender.
The Board also opened two tenders for Tatweer Petroleum, the first tender for the Supply ing firefighting car, five bids received for this render. The second tender was for the Supply of 33 KV High Voltage ABB Main Unit (RMU), one bid was received for this tender.
While a tender was opened for Bahrain National Gas Expansion Company, for control system of the third gas plant, one bid was received for this tender.
Finally, in the aviation sector, tenders have been opened for Bahrain Airport for the supplying iP phones for operational use for Bahrain Airport, and we have received four bids for this tender.
also been opened one tender for Gulf Air, for update data preservation system and backup solution maintenance support, four bids have been received for this tender.
The tender process was attended by representatives of the bidding companies and companies participating in the tenders.
