The purpose of the contract is to develop a construction project at a different level between platforms in stations, in cases where, after analyzing the nature, functionality, conditions, feasibility and proportionality of the existing step, the study of alternatives determines that this result is the optimal solution
Adif has tendered, for an amount of 5,501,434.40 euros (VAT included) and a term of 18 months, the contract of consulting services and technical assistance for the drafting of the study of alternatives and construction project of steps between platforms in a total of 28 stations of the General Interest Railway Network (RFIG).
The final purpose of this contract is to develop a construction project of passage at different levels between platforms in stations, in cases where, after analyzing the nature, functionality, conditions, feasibility and proportionality of the existing step, the study of alternatives determines that That is the optimal solution.
For the execution of these steps, including the elimination and disabling of the current passage, it may be necessary to modify tracks, the associated railway installations (electrification, signaling and communications) and to move, extend and widen the existing platforms.
The contract has been divided into five lots, which correspond to the following territorial areas:
Lot 1: Cantabria. The study of alternatives includes the stations of Nueva Montaa, Mogro, Boo de Pilagos, Barreda, Los Corrales de Buelna, Mar and Adarzo.
Lot 2: Asturias. The stations analyzed will be those of Colloto, Monteana, Villallana, Norea, Nava and Trasona.
Lot 3: Basque Country. The study includes the stations of Anoeta, Alegia, Hernani, Legorreta, Ikaztegieta and Itsasondo.
Lot 4: Castilla y Len, Castilla-La Mancha and Andaluca. The stations of Guadajoz (Seville), Arvalo (vila), Matapozuelos (Valladolid), Cabezn del Pisuerga (Valladolid) and Sigenza (Guadalajara) will be analyzed.
Lot 5: Catalonia and the Valencian Community. The stations of Riudellots (Girona), Montroig del Camp (Tarragona), Balenya-Tona-Seva (Barcelona) and Sollana (Valencia) will be studied.
This contract is part of the actions planned by Adif to improve the security of the authorized steps for crossing roads at the same level in passenger stations and other environments. In addition, these actions contribute to different Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 3 (Health and Welfare), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
