Greece : High participation in the tender for the privatization of DEPA Infrastructure

Kostis Hatzidakis : The large participation in the tender for the privatization of DEPA Infrastructure is yet another proof that the government is on the right track and creates the conditions for capital and investment to come into the country.
The systematic preparation by the competent Deputy Minister, Mr. Gerasimo Thomas, the HRADF and the DEPA administration, has made a significant contribution to this effort. We continue until the end of the competition. Six more privatizations are underway at the Ministry of Environment and Energy."
Gerasimos Thomas: "High participation is a vote of confidence in the country's energy transition plan as outlined in the EESC whose key parameter is the development and modernization of the gas and electricity networks. We believe that participation in the second phase of the tender will lead to an appropriate price, so that the necessary investments in the natural gas distribution network can be implemented quickly, safely and within the strict regulatory framework as set by RAE."
