India : Bihar seek tenders for 7 MW grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects

The Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency (BREDA) has announced tender for the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 7 MW grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects.
Development of the projects will be under the capital expenditure (CAPEX) model on various government buildings across Bihar. Also, the contract includes comprehensive maintenance for a period of five years.
March 18, 2020 is the deadline for bids submission. Interested bidders are required to pay an amount of INR 200,000 (~$2,760) as the earnest money deposit (EMD).
As per tenders criteria, the bidder is required to have a cumulative experience of installing at least one grid-connected solar PV project with a capacity of 350 kW or more during the last three years. Also, the bidder should have installed at least one grid-connected solar power project having a capacity of not less than 20 kW, which should have been commissioned in the last three years.
The minimum average annual turnover of the bidder for the best three financial years out of five should not be less than INR 20 million ($276,056), and the bidder must also have a positive net worth at the close of the preceding financial year.
