The Ministry of Labor, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities has launched a call for proposals for the co-financing of projects establishing day care units and / or temporary accommodation for persons over 65 years of age. It is envisaged to co-finance 30 projects worth over 21 million, 80% of which is EU funding and 20% of the national budget contribution.
In its Resolution on the National Social Protection Program, the Republic of Slovenia has set itself the objective of improving the availability and diversity and ensuring the accessibility and accessibility of services and programs. Accordingly, the Ministry of Labor, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities prepared a public tender for co-financing infrastructure investments intended for the implementation of daily care / temporary accommodation for the elderly (JR) , which was published on 6.3.2020 in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia.
The subject of the public tender is the co-financing of projects for the construction or acquisition of facilities or. facilities with land for the purpose of establishing day care units and / or providing temporary accommodation for persons over 65 years of age.
It is envisaged to co-finance 30 projects, with an estimated 16 projects in the Cohesion Region Vzhodna Slovenija (hereinafter referred to as KRVS) and an estimated 14 projects in the Cohesion Region Zahodna Slovenija (hereinafter KRZS). In accordance with the timetable for the operation, the evaluation criteria will better assess the projects with the final building permit for the investment subject to the application.
The total amount of available (non-refundable) earmarked funds for the public tender for the period from 2020 to 2023 is EUR 21,521,490.00, of which EUR 17,217,192.00 (80%) is EUR and 4,304,298.00 (20%) national contribution from the state budget. 11,621,604.60 earmarked for co-financing projects in the KRVS and 9,899,885.40 for co-financing projects in the KRVS.
The eligible costs under this call for proposals are as follows:
investments: purchase of real estate, purchase of land, construction, equipment and other tangible fixed assets and purchase of means of transport; the cost of wages and reimbursements related to work; costs of outsourcing services;
Value Added Tax (VAT) in accordance with the Instruction of the MDDSZ Intermediary Body to beneficiaries on the implementation of operations and eligible costs under the OP for the implementation of the 2014-2020 EQF and the certificate issued by the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia.
It is envisaged to co-finance the eligible costs incurred by the applicant in the period from the publication of the invitation to tender in the Official Journal to the end of the implementation of the co-financed project activities.
Applicants who are organized as a legal entity established in the Republic of Slovenia, established by the Republic of Slovenia, as a public social welfare institution carrying out the activity of accommodation institutions for the care of the elderly and disabled (SKD) will be eligible to apply.
