Serbia: Cancels Novi Sad-Horgos Highway Tender

Serbia’s infrastructure ministry cancelled a tender for construction of a stretch of a highway in the north of the country after bidders failed to submit satisfactory offers, said Citing Infrastructure Minister.
The tender was for a 110-kilometer (68-mile) stretch of the highway between Novi Sad and Horgos near Hungarian border, part of the country’s Corridor 10 road network.
Serbia’s Putevi AD offered 9.7 billion dinars ($132.9 million) for the work, ahead of Slovenia’s Primorje Group and Hidroelektra Niskogradnja dd and Vojput ad Subotica, a Croatian- Serbian group.
