India: PEC Limited Floats Tender For RBD Palmolein

India\'s PEC Limited has floated tender for the import of 12000 tonnes of RBD Palmolien with the shipment period being last week of April 2010. The Quantity of RBD Palmolien (Edible Grade) in bulk, to be imported for the port(s) of Chennai is 8,500 MT (+/- 2%) and Tuticorin is 3,500 MT (+/- 2%); total quantity 12,000 MT (+/- 2%).
Part shipment allowed for Chennai port (Minimum/Maximum to be 2500 - 6500 MT). Parties have an option for quoting for additional quantities. PEC reserves right to reduce or increase the quantity. The country of origin has to be Indonesia and/or Malaysia. PEC Ltd is a public sector undertaking under Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, Government of India.
