INDIA : DPIL bags Rs 1.15bn order

Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd. (DPIL) has won a orders worth Rs. 1.15bn from Montecarlo Construction Ltd. Anong with Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (L&T) and other various customers for supply of Cables & Conductors within 12 months.

Amit Bhatnagar, MD, DPIL said that, “The time is right for us to reap the benefits of our expanded capacities and prove our capability as a truly integrated company in the power transmission and distribution segment. With increased capacities across segments we hope to expand our client base and create better synergies for our EPC division.”

DIL\'s existing order book position is worth 13.5bn, which will be accomplished in a period of 9-12 months.

DPIL has recently won orders worth Rs 780mn for the supply of equipment and set up Extra High Voltage (EHV) cable plant in Vadodara. Apart from these latest development DPIL has signed a MoU with Orissa based UtkalGalvanizers Ltd. to buy a strategic stake in the Company.
