Publish Date : 17-Aug-2011
U.S Solar and Wind system creator Lincoln Renewable Energy will start working on a 10-megawatt in Fairfield, New Jersey. This project is financed by New Jersey Oak Solar System. The project involves around 55,000 solar panels on a 100-acre plot linked to Atlantic City Electric\'s distribution system.
It is estimated that development of this project will result in nearly 100 recruitments in a 6 month period, and will be the biggest non-utility held solar project east of the Mississippi.
Declan Ferguson, CEO of LRE stated that highly innovative project clearly demonstrates that when the right policies are in place, investment will flow to create much needed energy infrastructure, even in the current difficult economy.
