MOZAMBIQUE,UNITED STATES : KBR wins Pre-FEED contract for LNG plant

Engineering and construction firm KBR has secured a contract from a subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum to perform a pre-front-end-engineering and design (pre-FEED) study for a prospective liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Mozambique.
This contract award follows the recent natural gas discoveries by Anadarko and its partners in the Rovuma Basin offshore Mozambique. The pre-FEED study is designed to help Anadarko further assess the viability of developing an LNG facility to export natural gas from the region.
KBR Gas Monetization business unit president Mitch Dauzat said that the company will deliver a reliable study in the early stages of this important LNG development
