RUSSIAN FEDERATION,VIET NAM : Technics won S$32m contract

Recently Technics Oil and Gas Limited has secured a S$32 million contract from Vietsovpetro, a Vietnamese-Russian joint venture between state-owned Petrovietnam Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation and Zarubezhneft of Russia.
The fifteenth contract signed between the two companies will see Technics provide topside equipment for two wellhead satellite platforms in offshore Vietnam.
Planning for the project will commence in Sept 2011 and the platforms, which are expected to produce up to a total of 84,000 barrels of crude oil per day, are targeted for completion in June 2012.
