SINGAPORE : Koon Holdings secures S$40.1m JTC project

Construction firm Koon Holdings has been awarded a S$40.1 million infrastructure project by JTC Corporation. In this project, Koon will be responsible for the earthworks, soil upgradation works, drainage works, and reinforced concrete piling at the landfill site. The contract is for a period of 20 months.
“With the increasing demand for space in land-constraint Singapore, there is a continuing trend to rehabilitate existing land areas for future development,”said, Tan Thiam Hee, Managing Director and CEO of Koon.
According to Koon, its construction order book till date is worth S$128.3 million even including this deal. This order book even does not include US$160 million the Sao Bien Port project in Vietnam.
