SINGAPORE : CNA wins $18.6m contracts in Asia

CNA Group Ltd announced that it has been awarded three contracts, worth S$18.6 million in total, in the three months from July.
First contract, it was S$2.8 million contract by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to supply, install, configure and commission a WLAN System at several bus depots in Singapore. The system will serve to transfer transaction or other relevant data to and from buses and the depot\'s computer system. CNA will also oversee the supply of WLAN Security System for the protection and monitoring of the Depot WLAN System. The whole project is expected to end in October, 2012.
The group secured Second S$7.2 million contracts in Vietnam. Through its Vietnamese subsidiary, the group managed to win a S$6.0 million contract for the mechanical, engineering and plumbing package of the Hanoi Park City, and it is expected to be completed by January, 2013. CNA secured a S$1.2 million signage and fit-out contract for the Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa in Vietnam as well.
In China, the group has inked a S$3.7 million deal for the engineering, procurement and construction for the Dongying water and wastewater treatment project. Another S$4.9 million was secured from several contracts by its information communication technology segment in CNA China Co.
CNA\'s order book currently stands at S$64.9 million with the new contracts, of which contracts in Vietnam made up 45 per cent; Singapore, 37 per cent, and the remaining 17 per cent is from China
