UNITED STATES : BAE secured $9 million contract from U.S. Army TACOM

BAE Systems has secured a contract worth $9 million from the U.S. Army TACOM to manufacture and supply nine second generation International Light Armored Vehicles.
Under the contract, BAE Systems will supply six ILAV Explosive Ordnance Disposal variants and three ILAV Interrogator Arm variants and will also offer repair parts for the fleet of Interrogator Arm variants. The company stated that 700 ILAV have been produced and supplied to U.S. foreign allies.
The ILAV has five variants along with the ILAV base vehicle, Interrogator Arm, Explosive Ordinance Disposal, Joint Surrogate and MRAP training.
