CAMEROON : Dangote and Cameroun inked $115m deal

Dangote Group, West Africa based leading industrial company, signed $115 million (N 17.9 billion) investment deal.

According to Dangote Group, this investment deal is for the construction of a composite cement production plant in Cameroon and is likely to manufacture 1.5 million metric tonnes of cement in Douala. This deal comes under a $700 million long term investment program in Cameroon\'s real sector divisions.

Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of Dangote Group; Philemon Yang; Prime Minister and Head of Government of Cameroon; inked this deal.

According to Yang, this deal will transform the industrial landscape of East African nation. He also admired Dangote for its track records, saying the group as a motivation to investors in Africa.
