UNITED STATES : DRS Technical Services wins USSOCOM support contract

DRS Defense Solutions has announced that Technical Services (DRS TSI) business unit is one of seven contractors awarded an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with a potential value of up to $362M in support of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).
Under this effort, DRS TSI will support Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC), ensuring USSOCOM\'s ongoing ability to effectively optimize delivery, sustainment, maintenance and performance of its global enterprise IT specialty services.
The work will be performed at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla., with additional support required on a global basis. The anticipated total contract period of performance is five years with firm-fixed-price and cost-plus fixed-fee line items.
