CANADA : CAE awarded contracts valued more than C$70 million

CAE announced that it has sold four Level D full-flight simulators, or FFS, to customers in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Australia.
The four FFSs include: an Airbus A380 to Thai Airways International, an Airbus A330 to Gulf Aviation Academy, or GAA, an Airbus A320 to Russian aviation equipment company NITA, or New Information Technologies in Aviation, on behalf of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, and an Embraer Phenom 100 to CAE Global Academy Perth, a joint venture flight school with China Southern Airlines located in Australia.
CAE also signed contracts with various customers for updates of CAE-built simulators. The contracts are worth a total of more than C$70M at list prices, and bring the total number of FFS sales that CAE has announced to date during FY12 to 15.
