MALAYSIA : Labuan Shipyard secures RM100m Tanjung contract

SapuraCrest\'s 50 percent-owned associate firm, Labuan Shipyard and Engineering Sdn Bhd (LSE) has been awarded a contract to construct a 77-metre Platform Supply Vessel (PSV).
The contract worth RM99.5 million was awarded by Tanjung Offshore Bhd fully owned subsidiary, Tanjung Kapal Services Sdn Bhd.
According to SapuraCrest Petroleum Bhd, “The PSV is to be delivered by LSE to Tanjung within 21 months from the date of the contract.” It further added, “The contract is expected to contribute positively to the SapuraCrest group\'s earnings and net assets for the current and future financial years.”
