INDIA : BHEL bags Rs.3,782.90 crore deal from DBPL

India\'s premier engineering firm Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd(BHEL) has obtained Rs.3,782.90 crore deal from Dainik Bhaskar Power Ltd. (DBPL), to set up a 1,320-MW thermal power plant - 2x660 MW - in Madhya Pradesh.

As per this deal, company will carry out the supply and deployment of main plant package for their upcoming coal-based supercritical thermal power project in Singrauli District of Madhya Pradesh. It will develop, engineer, produce, supply, set up, assess and commission supercritical boilers, steam turbines and turbo-generators along with advanced controls and instrumentation (C&I) and other related auxiliaries, such as transformers and switchyard.

According to BHEL, this is second major deal from DBPL and with this the customer has again shown assurance in BHEL\'s established technological excellence.
