Publish Date : 30-Nov-2013

A significant contract for 2014 is successfully renewed by Ansvar Insurance with one of its leading faith accounts.

The contract renewal signify a national pool of 22 dioceses and was achieved through a tri-partnership with Anglican National Insurance Program (ANIP), Ansvar and Aon.

Ian Ireland, national general manager of sales, Ansvar said, "Our relationship with Aon is delivering dividends for the Ansvar team because Aon clearly understand the faith segment, and similar to Ansvar, has a broad portfolio of faith clients. We're proud of what we've achieved since we started working more closely with Aon in late 2012".

Ireland said, "The multimillion dollar partnership with ANIP is welcome validation of the customer and broker-focused business improvements and structural changes implemented across Ansvar throughout 2013".

Client manager, Aon Risk Services Australia, Michael Hambleton said, "Ansvar demonstrated commitment throughout the entire process from the CEO down including national senior sales executives and senior underwriters, all of whom were focused on service delivery to ANIP at a comprehensive and very detailed level.

Hambleton said, "It's clear there's a solid commitment to improvement in service delivery and standards and a genuine intent byAnsvar in creating a long term insurance partnership".

The policy with ANIP is important both for its size as well as the scope of the contract. Ansvar and Aon have taken an increased risk-management approach to the renewal negotiations.

Mathew Wilson, risk management and insurance manager, ANIP said, "ANIP and Ansvar have a long history. ANIP were impressed with the refocus on our business and the service commitment provided by Ansvar CEO, Andrew Moon. The increased flexibility demonstrated to meet our program member's needs was impressive".

Hambleton said, "We value Ansvar's capability in the faith sector. They understand our business and their depth of experience and renewed commitment around risk management drove our decision to renew the contract. Both Aon and Ansvar have considerable heritage of knowledge in the faith sector".
