India : NSL POWER to utilize $45 million for installing windfarms in MAHARASHTRA

NSL Power, which contrives to inject $45 million for setting up a new wind farms in Maharashtra, is projecting to increase $15.75 million from the International Finance Corporation.

For Jath Wind Energy Private Limited, NSL Renewable Power Private Limited is the ‘Sponsor’ , while in an equity holder in the Sponsor, possesing 7.9% on a fully diluted basis.

NSL power is also contriving to install 40MW wind power plant in Vaspet, Sangli District of Maharashtra with an SPV called Jath Wind Energy Private Limited, as per the company's project disclosure.

The project company has been arranged for the sole purpose of construction, operation, and maintenance of the 40 MW project and will not have any other operations.

Further, the plan is anticipated to be accredited March 31, 2014.

Nevertheless, INOX Wind Limited (INOX), a wind turbine manufacturer and project developer will be formulating the plan on a turnkey basis – from design to progressing to commissioning, that covers the micrositing, attainment of land, obtaining statutory approvals, WTG supply, and EPC and O&M.

By Sponsoring or through the IFC syndicated loan proucts, balance debt financing of up to $15.75 million equivalent is proposed to be arranged from other Indian lenders.
