China,Venezuela : CHINA pledges to promote VENEZUELA partnership to new level

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi pledged on 21 April 2014 to promote the strategic partnership of common development between the two nations to a new level.
Wang made the remarks while meeting separately with Nicolas Maduro, Venezuelan President and Elias Jaua, Venezuelan Foreign Minister during the second stop of his Latin America tour, after a visit to Cuba.
Wang said the two sides had consolidated political trust in each other, and boosted practical cooperation, hailing the sound development momentum of Venezuela-China relations in the past few years.
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of setting up diplomatic ties, China was willing to work with Venezuela to execute the consensus on deepening the bilateral relationship, reached between Venezuelan President Maduro and Chinese President Xi Jinping, and promote their strategic partnership of common development to a new level.
Wang voiced China's support for Venezuela in exploring its own development path and wanting political dialogue to end differences among all parties.
Wang said, both sides were ready to carry on the traditional friendship and promote high-level exchanges between each other, adding they agreed to improve collaboration on education, energy, infrastructure, finance and people-to-people exchanges.
Wang said the Latin America-China forum would be launched in 2014, with the goal of enhancing cooperation with Latin American nations.
Maduro hailed the fruitful results of the strategic partnership, and expressed his willingness to promote the friendship endorsed by former Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and Chinese leaders.
He said Venezuela would work with China to push forward the bilateral ties and relationship between Latin American nations and China.
Jaua expressed his gratitude to China for supporting its safeguarding of stability and peace in the natoin and said Venezuela was willing to work with China to seek common interests for peoples in both nations. Wang will also visit Brazil and Argentina.
