Nottingham-based Inside Out Technical Security has secured a contract worth Ł1m from Vinci Construction UK.

The contract is with Taylor Woodrow, the civil engineering division of Vinci Construction, and was won following a competitive procedure.

The project is to install CCTV cameras and a video management system for the latest phase of the city's tram network. It also features the design and creation of a "state-of-the-art" control centre for managing phase two of the Nottingham tram works.

Inside Out managing director Donna Bickley said, “After successfully being awarded this contract, it will almost certainly permit our company to look at recruitment and further expansion. We feel very grateful that Vinci Construction made sourcing a local business a priority and one they felt was worth investing in.”
