Germany,Norway,United Kingdom : FCm TRAVEL SOLUTIONS bags 3-year contract to travel management services to KCA DEUTAG
Publish Date : 12-Jun-2014
FCm Travel Solutions declared that it has secured a contract from KCA Deutag for the provision of full travel management services in the UK, Norway and Germany.
FCm's local dedicated marine and offshore team will be managing travel at the KCA Deutag's headquarters in Aberdeen.
As per the 3-year contract, FCm Germany will be responsible for overseeing after the company's drilling rig and oilfield equipment manufacturer, Bentec, which is situated in Bad Bentheim, and FCm Norway is servicing the company's operations in Bergen.
FCm was appointed following a six month RFP and tender process during which the travel management company focussed on its ability to work in partnership with KCA Deutag across multiple markets, creating bespoke solutions and supporting the client's business objectives.
Jo Greenfield, UK general manager, FCm Travel Solutions said, "We identified early on that KCA Deutag was looking for a TMC to work in partnership with them, not just act as a regular travel supplier. We took an innovative approach, creating bespoke proposal brochures highlighting how FCm would align itself with the client's objectives and key locations."
Greenfield added, "Subsequent documents and presentations reflected the direct benefits FCm could give the client to support their business growth. We backed this up by including a specialised oil and gas account manager, as well as the general manager for FCm Norway in meetings with the client in Aberdeen, to demonstrate how we would work with KCA Deutag personally in each market in the long term."
