China : BNDES inks MoU with China Development Bank and CHINESE EXIMBANK

China and Brazil has inked a series of trade deals as part of Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to Brazil.

The agreement covers that Chinese companies buying 60 E-190 airplanes from Brazil's Embraer. It is expected that the plane deal is to be valued at 3.3 billion U.S. dollars.

The Export-Import Bank of China would offer 5 billion U.S. dollars over three years for backing up Brazilian mining giant CVRD to buy or lease equipment, vessels and other services from Chinese companies in the financial field.

A deal has also been inked by the Bank of China to aid CVRD arrange global financing for the next three years.

As per Chinese President Xi Jinping,"We will continue stimulating the stable growth of our bilateral trade and actively cooperate to invest in areas including oil, electricity, iron ore, agriculture and others."

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff added, "May this lesson inspire the Sino-Brazilian partnership in the sustainable development of our countries and for a peaceful, democratic and inclusive international order."

Both of them have talked about the China's potential participation in the construction of a proposed railway, which would connect Brazil's Atlantic coast to Pacific ports in Peru.

The other deals have been reached in sectors like mining, education and construction.
