Venture capital fund Mayfield Ventures has given an undisclosed amount of follow-on funding to Talview, formerly known as Interview Master.

Talview is a video interview platform based on the concept of asynchronous video interviews. Previously, Interview Master was incubated at Venture Nursery, the angel-backed start-up accelerator developed in March 2012.

Talview, at the time of incubation, had scored seed-funding from angel investors at Venture Nursery including Anand Ladsariya, Amit and Arihant Patni, Anirudh Damani, Bharat Banka and Ravi Kiran.

Mayfield is acquiring about 15-20 per cent stake in Talview. The customers of Talview comprise Wockhardt, JSW, Renault, Singapore Airlines, Resouce Hunters and Rank Junction.

Talview delivers a platform for recruiters to screen candidates effectively bringing in substantial savings in terms of time & efforts related to face to face or telephonic interviews.

Sanjoe Tom Jose, K. Subramanian, Tom Jose and Jobin Jose, co-founded the venture. Sanjoe, an alumnus of IIT Bombay, has worked with National Instruments and Larsen & Toubro.
