Air China Cargo Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Air China Cargo) and Sinotrans Air Transportation Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Sinotrans Development) signed an annual air charter cooperation agreement in Beijing in the afternoon of August 20. The agreement specified that Air China Cargo provided the air charter business from China to Frankfurt in Europe directly for Sinotrans Development with Boeing 747-400 all-cargo aircraft. This was an important step in the strategic cooperation between Air China Cargo and Sinotrans Development, and also marked a formal strategic partnership on cargo air charter between Air China Cargo and Sinotrans Development.
Feng Gang, deputy general manager of Air China, Zhang Miao, general manager and party secretary of Sinotrans Development, Xiao Ping, general manager of Planning and Development Department of Air China, deputy general manager of Planning and Development Department of Air China, Yao Jun, president of Air China Cargo, Huang Bin, party secretary of Air China Cargo, Diao Zhihui, executive vice president of Air China Cargo, Yu Haoran, vice president of marketing, as well as Yao Jiawu and Hao Wenning, deputy general managers of Sinotrans Development, attended the signing ceremony. Wang Changgeng, general manager of Marketing Department of Air China Cargo, and Xiao Chenglu, deputy general managers of Sinotrans Development, signed the cooperation agreement as representatives from both sides. Gu Dongfeng, general manager of China Air Express, Wang Chong, deputy general manager of China Air Express, Wang Hongyan, assistant president of Air China Cargo, etc. also attended the meeting.
It is reported that the chartered Europe airline is Shanghai-Frankfurt-Tianjin, on every Thursday and Sunday, with Boeing 747-400 all-cargo aircraft of which one-way capacity may reach 100t. The first chartered outbound airplane CA1013 had smoothly departed from Shanghai Pudong Airport early in the morning of August 21. Over the years, Air China Cargo and Sinotrans Development have built good partnership in the air transportation business. For the cargo air charter partnership built this time, Air China Cargo, as the carrier, will effectively take advantage of the available transport capacity resource to boost the business development of Sinotrans.
