Russian mobile operator MTS has won various tenders for work to provide telecommunications services for power companies in the Far-East and Eastern Siberia.

According to information, total value of the contracts is around RUB 45 million.

The operator said, 9,000 staff members of 119 entities will be using telecommunications services.

Additionally, MTS will be responsible to provide them with its M2M services. The companies includes Sakha and Sakhalin-based hydro-power generation stations, a Blagoveshchensk-based thermal power generation station, along with various power distribution and supply companies.
