Investec announced the joining of Mike Kelly as its new business development manager (BDM) to lead the company’s expansion plan. In this role, Kelly will help the company to expand its offering in Birmingham for the addition of private bank services for professionals, entrepreneurs and high net worth clients. Mr Kelly will work closely with the Birmingham-based corporate treasury team Liz Law and Charlotte Begley, who provide foreign exchange, commodity and cash solutions to mid corporate businesses in the region.
Prior to join Investec Bank, Kelly served for eight years at Yorkshire Bank and before that 28 years with West Bromwich Building Society. “We are committed to being an out of the ordinary private bank, guaranteeing unparalleled levels of service and personal attention,” he said, “In addition to our investment management services we are now able to offer specialist lending , including mortgages, for entrepreneurs, professionals and high net worth clients as well as deposit solutions and a wide range of currency services.”
