United States : NASA announces deal with Insight as part of Procurement Plan
Publish Date : 11-Apr-2015
NASA has projected an Insight Public Sector, a division of multinational IT provider Insight Enterprises Inc. as a part of a $20 billion procurement plan to give both hardware and software.
The firm stated, Insight would be having the capability to assist with ‘all federal agencies and government contractors in addition to all NASA centers,” under the terms of the deal.
“The SEWP V contract enables Insight to offer its robust solutions for data centers and virtualization, data protection, mobility, cloud, and a full spectrum of hardware, software and IT services,” Insight said in a statement. “The contract was awarded as part of NASA’s identification of vendors in Group D that can now provide state-of-the-art information and computer technologies, high-end scientific and engineering processing capabilities, and network equipment and peripherals to federal agencies.”
