On Monday, Atlanta's Department of Procurement launched a new website designed to simplify the vendor registration process.

With the implementation of the latest technology, Atlanta aims at facilitating businesses to secure contracts with the city.

Adam Smith, the city’s chief procurement officer, said, “We believe that the new website will greatly enhance vendor access to useful information about how to do business with the city and provide helpful guidance through the procurement process.”

This new website offers information on city procurement opportunities, explains the procurement process and gives users a way to receive automatic updates.
