India : MIC ELECTRONICS emerges as lowest bidder for AP street light contract

MIC Electronics Ltd has announced that it has emerged as the lowest bidder in the recent tender floated by Andhra Pradesh Government for supply and erection of street lights in four of the five districts of the State.
MIC as a lead member in consortium, in league with 2 more firms took part in the bid against tender floated by Energy Efficiency Services Limited for design, manufacture, supply, testing, installation (retrofit), and commissioning of LED street lights along with centralized control and monitoring system (CCMS) in the five districts of Andhra Pradesh.
The districts are Guntur, Krishna, East Godavari, West Godavari (1,81,398 LED street lights) and Prakasam (31,221 LED street lights). According to the company, it stood 1st lowest (LI) bidder for the first four districts, and for Prakasam district it stood 2nd lowest (L2) bidder.
