CFR floats EUR 29.4 million open tender to rehabilitate 17 bridges and 4 culverts for Iasi regional subsidiary

Romanian state-owned infrastructure manager, CFR SA has floated a RON 129.7 million (EUR 29.4 million) open tender to rehabilitate 17 bridges and four culverts for Iasi regional subsidiary.

The deadline for submitting offers has been set for 23 June. The tender has been divided into four lots.

Lot 1 includes 6 bridges on CF Ploiesti – Vicsani railway line (km 150+993; km 158+811; km 166+180; km 175+465; km 187+307; km 187+706), and its estimated value is of RON 22.9 million (EUR 5.3 million). Completion of work in this lot is expected within 20 months.

Lot 2 includes 5 bridges and one culvert on CF Adjud-Siculeni railway line (km 34+648; km 49+563; km 82+983; km 84+312; km 98+011; km 110+461). Estimated value is around RON 23.9 (EUR 5.4 million), and completion of works should be within 20 months.

Lot 3 includes 4 bridges and 3 culverts on CF Ploiesti – Vic ani and Gala i – Giurgiule ti railway lines (km 200+687, km 202+697, km 203+714, km 223+897, km 228+355, km 246+652; km 271+950). Estimated value is around RON 30.9 million (EUR 7 million). Works should be completed within a period of 12 months.

Lot 4 includes 2 bridges on Adjud – Siculeni (km 38+530 i km 53+470). Estimated value is of around RON 51.9 million (EUR 11.7 million). Completion is expected within 12 months.

According to information, the project is 85% co-financed by the European Union's Regional Development Fund and the State budget.
