The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has introduced a new e-payment service that will accelerate its tender procedures.

The service will allow businesses to purchase and download Ashghal's tendering documents and circulars online through the authority's website www.ashghal.gov.qa.

After cancelling the manual system, Ashghal began receiving request to purchase tendering documents electronically from the first quarter of this year.

This function is one of many key services that the authority's combined Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system provides. This system will work to replace the manual paper system for financial and management processes with the electronic systems aiming to boost Ashghal's efficiency of processes and internal procedures.
