Andhra Pradesh will receive $ 250 million funding help from World Bank for the Andhra Pradesh fiasco recuperation venture.

The credit is from the International Development Association (IDA), the World Bank's concessionary giving arm.

The deal was inked by S Selvakumar, joint secretary, department of economic affairs for the benefit of the central government and Onno Ruhl, nation director (India), World Bank.

Jagdish Chander Sharma, land and disaster management principal secretary (AP) said, “This will be used for taking up some permanent measures.
